DUBAI, UAE - AMMAN, JORDAN – Sowt Media, Inc., a pioneering force in Arabic audio content production, has announced the acquisition of Dubai-based Rising Giants Network (RGN). This strategic move marks a significant step forward in Sowt's mission to elevate Arabic audio content while solidifying its position as a leader in the industry.
The acquisition of Rising Giants Network reinforces Sowt's commitment to fostering diverse and engaging Arabic and English audio content. Through this union, Sowt aims to expand its reach and continue delivering high-quality podcasts that resonate with audiences across the Arabic-speaking world.
Rising Giants Network, known for its innovative approach to podcasting, brings a wealth of talent and high-quality content to the Sowt Media family. Sowt is excited to welcome aboard talent from RGN. Several of RGN’s shows will start publishing again: Lahza ma Mais hosted by popular content producer Mais Mohammad and Kursi al Athnein (Monday’s Chair) hosted by Emirati Abdulla Al Nuaimi. Kursi al Ethnein’s video version was recently picked up by DUBAI TV for broadcast. More shows will start publishing again soon as well.

This is Sowt’s second acquisition. Previously in 2022, Sowt acquired Finyal Studios, a Dubai-based podcast studio focusing on fiction content.
The most recent acquisition was supported in part by the Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF). The financial terms of the acquisition were not publicly announced.
